SORA Skin & Ritual House is in Peoria, about ten minutes from Sun City and roughly fifteen from Sun City West. It is led by Phuong Dang, a former bioscientist and licensed esthetician who also holds an Oncology Skin Specialist certification through Circadia.
That last credential matters more here than almost anywhere else in the valley. Skin in its seventies and eighties is rarely just older skin. It is skin on blood thinners that bruises from pressure a younger face would not notice. Skin thinned by years of topical steroids. Skin recovering from a Mohs excision, or from radiation, or from chemotherapy that changed how it heals. Most of that is invisible on an intake form unless someone knows to ask.
So the first appointment is mostly listening. Phuong asks about medications, procedures, and diagnoses before she touches anything, because on skin like this the wrong active is not a disappointing result — it is a setback that takes months. What follows is deliberately gentle, and she will tell you plainly when the honest answer is that a treatment is not right for you.

How far is SORA from Sun City and Sun City West?
The studio is at 7988 W Griswold Rd, Peoria — roughly 5 miles and about 10 minutes from Sun City, and about 15 minutes from Sun City West down Bell Road. Parking is directly outside the door, with no stairs and a short walk in.
I am on medication that affects my skin. Can I still be treated?
Usually yes, but the plan changes, which is exactly why Phuong asks first. Blood thinners, long-term steroids, and several common prescriptions alter how skin bruises, heals, and reacts. Bring your list to the first appointment and she will build around it rather than discover it afterwards.
Do you work with skin recovering from cancer treatment?
Yes. Phuong holds an Oncology Skin Specialist certification through Circadia, which covers treating skin affected by chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery. If you are in active treatment, she will ask you to check with your oncologist first, and she is glad to keep the plan conservative and coordinate around what they advise.
Is a peel or microchanneling too aggressive for mature, thin skin?
Sometimes, and Phuong will say so. Thin, reactive skin often needs its barrier rebuilt before anything corrective is worth attempting, and starting there is not a delay tactic — it is what makes the later work hold. If the right first step is repair, that is what you will be offered.
