First visit & consultations
-
What happens at my first appointment?
Your first visit begins with a personalized skin assessment and a conversation about your history, concerns, and goals. From there, Phuong either treats on the same day or maps out a personalized plan with you, so you always understand the what and the why before anything begins.
-
Do I need a consultation before I book a treatment?
Not for most treatments. Every skin treatment already includes a personalized consultation and skin assessment at the start of your appointment, so you can book straight in. If you are unsure which treatment to choose, send a message before booking and Phuong will help you decide. For comprehensive corrective programs such as the Melasma Correction Protocol, Phuong asks that you begin with a consultation before committing to the complete program.
-
How should I prepare for my visit?
Come with clean, product-light skin if you can, and pause strong actives such as retinoids and acids for a few days beforehand. If you are unsure about a product or a recent treatment, message the studio first and Phuong will guide you.
-
How long will my appointment take?
Most single treatments run between 60 and 90 minutes, with dermaplaning and express options closer to an hour. Corrective work for acne, texture, and pigment is planned as a series of visits over several weeks. Every treatment is unhurried, in a private room, with appointments that never overlap.
Treatments & results
-
How many sessions will I need to see a change?
Some results, like the glow after a HydraFacial, are visible the same day. Corrective work for acne, texture, and pigment is planned as a series, because real skin change happens gradually and holds better when it is built over time. Phuong will give you an honest timeline at your first visit.
-
Will I have any downtime afterwards?
It depends on the treatment. A HydraFacial or oxygen infusion leaves you glowing with no downtime, while microchanneling, peels, and the corrective programs can involve some redness or light flaking for a few days. Phuong walks you through what to expect and sends you home with a clear aftercare plan.
-
Do the treatments hurt?
Most treatments are comfortable and relaxing. For microchanneling a topical numbing is applied first, and peels can feel warm or tingly for a short time. Nothing is rushed, and Phuong checks in with you throughout.
-
Can you help with my specific skin concern?
SORA specializes in personalized care for concerns including acne, melasma and pigmentation, post-acne marks and scarring, sensitivity and redness, uneven texture, dehydration, and visible signs of aging. Your treatment recommendations are based on your individual skin concerns and goals.
-
Are treatments customized to my skin?
Yes. Every SORA skin treatment begins with a personalized assessment. Your treatment is thoughtfully tailored based on your current skin condition, concerns, tolerance, and long-term goals. Products and techniques may be adjusted to ensure the experience is appropriate for your skin at the time of your visit.
Products & aftercare
-
Do I need to purchase skincare products?
A consistent home-care routine can play an important role in supporting your professional treatments, particularly when addressing concerns such as acne and pigmentation. Product recommendations are personalized to your skin and lifestyle, with a focus on creating a realistic routine you can maintain. There is never pressure to purchase products you don't need.
-
Will I get aftercare instructions?
Yes. You leave with a clear, written home-care plan and the exact product list for your treatment, plus guidance on sun protection and what to avoid while your skin recovers.
-
What should I do between visits for corrective programs?
Follow your home routine as prescribed and keep up daily SPF, since consistency is what holds your results. Phuong is available between visits if a product does not feel right or your skin changes, and will adjust the plan as you progress.
Booking & policies
-
How do I book?
You can book online any time using the Book a Treatment button. If you are not sure which treatment is right for you, send a message first and Phuong will help you choose before you book.
-
What is your cancellation policy?
Forty-eight hours notice is appreciated so the studio can offer the time to someone on the waitlist. Late cancellations and no-shows may be subject to a fee.
-
What happens if I am running late?
Please message the studio as soon as you know. Because appointments never overlap, a late arrival may mean your treatment is shortened to protect the next client's time. Significant late arrivals may need to be rescheduled.
-
Do you offer treatment packages?
Not every treatment requires a package. The Melasma Correction Protocol is a comprehensive multi-session program purchased as a complete series, while other treatment series may be recommended based on your individual concerns and goals. Phuong will always walk you through the plan, the timeline, and the cost up front, with no surprises.
The studio & location
-

The studio is at 7988 W. Griswold Rd., Peoria, AZ 85345, welcoming clients from Peoria, Glendale, Surprise, Scottsdale, and the greater Phoenix area.
